Some of the floors in the New Jersey Statehouse were covered with carpet since the 1950’s. No one really knew it was there. They were going to replace the carpeting, but when the removal team came in they discovered the tile and chose to see if the tile could be saved. So of course Jersey Steamer Cleaning Services received the call to come in and evaluate the situation. It turned out to be a 2 day project. First we removed all of the old carpet and old adhesive. Then we cleaned the tile and had to have a few pieces fabricated. Some of the tile was damaged over the years, others were just loose. In the end all the tiles and reinstallation of damaged areas came out looking fabulous after our special polishing. A true win win for us and the now beautifully restored New Jersey Statehouse floors.
